Miss Lauren

I’m Miss Lauren, I founded Blossom Barn Nursery in 2021, fulfilling my lifelong ambition of owning my own nursery school. I have worked in childcare since 2008, achieving Outstanding Ofsted reports in my previous childminding career. I have a passion for creating a calm and immersive learning experience for all children. With 2 young children of my own, Sienna and Scarlett, I understand the importance of great parent communication and being involved in their early education. I am always looking for new inventive ways of sparking children’s interests and creating new learning experiences for children, and strive to provide the perfect learning environment to do so! I am dedicated to providing an outstanding, safe, stimulating and happy educational experience, in a unique and nurturing setting that feels like a home away from home.

Miss Stef

I’m Miss Stef and I am the Senior Manager for Blossom Barn, overseeing all Blossom Barn Nursery sites. I have worked for Blossom Barn since the first day- September 2021. I have a level 6 Early Years Professional Status in childcare and have worked in the sector since 2007. I love my role as I can provide support and guidance to my team as well as children and their families. I am Montessori trained and I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the company. Watching children giggle, having fun, getting messy and growing self-esteem and confidence is what I love about working with children. In my spare time I love to spend time at the beach with my family- my husband, two girls and dog.

Miss Tracey

My name is Miss Tracey and I’m the deputy manager for Blossom Barn. I am the deputy designated Safeguarding Lead for Takeley as well as the nursery Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO). I have worked at Blossom barn since early September 2021. I have worked in the industry since 2013 after changing my career to pursue my love of childcare. I adore my job, working with a fantastic team watching them and the children grow and develop. I have a love for the outdoors so the forest garden is one of my favourite things to do with the children, the joy it brings them with the awe and wonder we can create makes me so happy. In my spare time, I’m kept busy by my three children, ranging from 29-11 and a crazy cockapoo!

Miss Emma B

My name is Miss Emma and I have been working at Blossom Barn since the first day-September 2021. I have a level 6 (degree) in early years and have extensive experience working with children since 2013. I am the SENDCO and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at Takeley. I love to create a stimulating, engaging and safe atmosphere for each child’s individual needs. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and my children!

Miss Emma

My name is Miss Emma and I have been working for Blossom Barn Nursery since July 2023 as the nursery admin. I have two children, one boy and girl. In my spare time I like to spend time with my children on days out! From having two children of my own, I understand the importance of good communication with parents. I have a caring nature and love to help in any way I can!

Little Buds Team

Miss Becky

I’m Miss Becky, the room leader for Little Buds and worked here since September 2021. I’m currently studying for a level three qualification in early years. My goal each day is having a room full of happy, smiling, giggling babies that are always so very proud of themselves in everything they do. In my spare time, I’m a qualified holistic therapist and have been since 2008 and have a great passion for mental and physical wellbeing for babies, children and adults. I enjoy reading, and spending quality time with my husband, children and grandchildren.

Miss Courtney

My name is Miss Courtney and I am deputy room leader of Little Buds. I have worked at Blossom Barn since January 2022. I have a Level 3 in Early Years Education and I love my role as I can make amazing bonds with both children and their families to support them where possible. Watching the children grow and develop into amazing people and seeing how they can have fun in so many different ways is one of the reasons I love my job. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends, making new experiences and memories!

Miss Ronel

My name is Miss Ronel and I’ve been at Blossom Barn since October 2021. I have a level 3 in childcare. I’ve been in childcare since 2002 spanning 3 countries in various childcare related roles and have learned so much being able to do so. I love being part of the children’s journey at Blossom Barn, from helping children settle to watching them progress to the next stages in their learning. In my spare time I have taken up paddle boarding and enjoy spending time with my husband and two girls.

Miss Nicole

My name is Miss Nicole, I am an apprentice at Blossom Barn and have worked here since April 2022. My role is support the children and help make their day as fun as possible whilst learning. I spend time in all rooms, getting to spend time with children of all ages. I love making bonds with all the children and seeing how fast they grow and make new friends. In my spare time I love going out and spending time with my friends and family.

Miss Louise

I’m Miss Louise and have worked at Blossom Barn Nursery since 2023 as the midday assistant for Little Buds. I love working with the little ones, having endless cuddles and bringing new activity ideas! In my spare time I love spending time with my little girl, going out on walks!

Big Buds Team

Miss Dani

I’m Miss Dani, and I have been working in childcare since 2011 and am a level 3 qualified practitioner. I have been working at Blossom barn since September 2021 when we first opened and am the room leader of Big Buds. I have always had a passion with working with children, I love that every day is different and you never know what your day will bring! My favourite part is the joy and fun we have each day creating bonds with the children and being able to create different adventures and learning experiences for them. I love travelling and have visited a few different places such as Australia, Iceland, Greece, turkey and many more.

Miss Chloe

My name is Miss Chloe, I am the deputy room leader in Big Buds and have been at Blossom since June 2022. I have a level 3 qualification in childcare education and I love my role as I get to watch and help the children grow and develop whilst giving them their all important independence skills. I love to create exciting and messy activities for the children to explore, the messier the better! In my spare time I love to bake and spend time with my boyfriend and Rabbits Otis and Oreo!

Miss Rosie

My name is Rosie, I am a level 3 qualified practitioner who has worked here at Blossom since April 2022. I am the Sing and Sign Ambassador for Big Buds. I love my role because I enjoy helping the children to gain independence and confidence as well as supplying the children with endless amounts of cuddles! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going out for meals! I have also recently enjoyed going to gym and joining in with workout classes.

Miss Saf

I’m Miss Saf and have worked at Blossom Barn Nursery since December 2023. I am working towards my level 3 in childcare. I used to run parent and baby classes and have so much enthusiasm and energy to bring to the children! I spend time in all rooms, getting to spend time with children of all ages. In my spare time I love spending time with my son, we are always going on adventures!

Miss Sadie

I’m Miss Sadie and have worked at Blossom since 2023. I am currently working towards my level 3 in childcare. I love playing games with the children and of course getting messy…the messier the better! I spend time in all rooms, getting to spend time with children of all ages. I grew up in a very busy household with many siblings, and now nieces and nephews.

Miss Kirsty

My name is Kirsty, I’m a practitioner and have been working at Blossom Barn since April 2023. I am a mum of 2 and have first hand childcare experience since 2004! It is a real pleasure to assist and help all children here on their own paths, growing with confidence and enthusiasm while learning all blossoming beautifully. No two days are the same which is why I truly love working at Blossom! My spare time belongs with my family looking after our 2 dogs and I love music and drama lessons.

Miss Octavia

Hello, I’m Octavia and I am the pre-school room leader and I have worked at Blossom Barn since November 2021. I have a Bachelor of Education as well as being a Level 3 in Early Years. Before moving to early years, I taught at a junior school for nearly ten years. Working with children and education is definitely in my blood. I still find it a complete delight to watch children grow and develop and I feel privileged to be part of this experience. My own family are now grown up and young adults which has given me more time to focus on my other passion which is running, anything from 10k to 50 miles.

Miss Steph

I’m Miss Steph and have been with Blossom Barn Nursery from day one! I am the deputy room leader of pre-school. I have a level 3 in childcare and have worked in childcare since 2017 and have experience teaching dance, music and movement to children. I love to be creative with the children, exploring new activities and ideas. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and going out for dinner.

Miss Sarah

Hi, my name is Miss Sarah and I am a Level 3 Practitioner here at Blossom Barn. I have been working here since August 2022, and I love my role in helping the children to grow, flourish, and gain confidence in their likes/dislikes/independence skills, and just enjoy the pleasures of getting messy and wet! In my spare time I enjoy photography, café hopping, and spending time with my family - especially with my nephew!

Miss Liz

My name is Miss Liz. I am a the SENCO, one-to-one support worker and practitioner at Blossom Barn, helping children with additional needs. I have worked here since September 2022. I have a degree in Childhood and Adolescent Studies and have worked with children and families since 1993! I love my current role at blossom Barn and feel so privileged to be a part of the lives and development of the children. Seeing their smiling happy faces each day is my favourite part! In my spare time I love worshipping and helping out at my church, looking after my own two children (both of whom have additional needs), and riding my bike!

Miss Brie

My name is Brie and I am a Midday Assistant at Blossom Barn Nursery. I have worked here since March 2023. My role is to ensure children are provided with healthy snacks and meals. I love to do cooking with the children- their favourite is roasted rosemary and garlic potatoes! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughters and granddaughter and plenty of beach walks!
