Local Offer

There are several organisations available for families to access to support speech and language development. If you do have any concerns about your child’s development, please contact us as we are always here to support.

 The local offer is a service provided by Essex County council for all children, young people and families. It provides information and support with questions that you may have regarding your child’s development, support groups, activities and so much more. 

The West Essex Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service provides support and assistance to children and young people who are experiencing difficulties with speech, language, understanding, talking, communication and with feeding & swallowing. This service can be when your child turns 2 and 6 months to 18 years. There is a telephone drop in service held every Tuesday between 9am-11am, in which parents or carers can discuss their concerns. Talk, Listen, Cuddle is a useful website which provides a wide range of playful and learning activities at home from 0-5 years. The focus of Talk, Listen, Cuddle is to develop your child’s communication in a fun way.
